I know Halloween is a bit of a ways away. However, I wanted to suggest the idea of celebrating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) along with Halloween. Days of October 31 – November 2. October 31 is Halloween or All Hallows eve. November 1 is “el Dia de los innnocentes” or the day of the children and All Saints Day. November second is All Souls Day or the Day of the Dead. We can make Ofrendas (memorials) for those we wish to honor/miss. We can have sugar skulls and pan de muerto (bread of the dead). If anyone has any questions about Día de los Muertos feel free to ask.

Re: Halloween Ideas
Mmmmn sugar skulls, and nummy bread....
Also.....
New Years Day October 31st at sundown Also known as Samhain or All Hallow's Eve. This is New Years on the Druid calendar. The wall between earth and the underworld is thin at this time of year. On Halloween night, the wall opens. Samhain, the Lord of Darkness, rises from the underworld. He roams the world looking for lost souls. It is an evil and wicked night, a perfect night for a witch to celebrate New Years!
A lot to celebrate on one day for sure!! ohhh the ideas!!
