Farewell, Lord Odin

Post by Tack » Fri May 26, 2023 3:39 am

It's with tears in my eyes that I tell you all that on May 20th, Lord Odin passed away. He had been sick for awhile and finally decided to join Freya, who had passed away in 2013. You can read my eulogy to him on the main website.

You can read his obituary and leave a message for his family on the wall.

Also, as many of you will ask, we are looking at setting up a new host for the shard but we need to give the family some time to grieve over their loss. I have access to the server and keep the data files backed up regularly.

Rest in peace dear friend. Ye will be sorely missed...

Vale M'Lord.
May you dance with your Lady Freya through the Halls of Valhalla forever more.

You have touched the lives of people from all over the world and I feel privileged to have been able to help build a world of your vision.
Fondly remembered, sadly missed and honoured to have been a part of your heart.
Thank you.

I'll miss seeing Odin sitting there on his stool at the Gardens. Even if we couldn't see him as he vanished when he sat.
He was a very honest, forgiving man who believed in giving people a second chance, or 3 or 4.
The place feels a bit empty without him.
