Homunculus CreationsA homunculus creation is a tiny creature that looks like a mongbat and follows you around using your name. If you are killed near your homunculus creation, you will take over the creation's body instead of actually becoming a ghost. Essentially it is the creation's spirit that is killed instead of yours. After about 30 minutes of looking like a winged monkey, you will change back into your regular form. Homunculus creations are made with a totem and an elixir, using the alchemy skill. At 100 skill, there is still only a 25% of succeeding. If you fail, one of 4 bad things can happen to you:
As you can see, attempting to make a homunculus creation is a risky venture even at the highest level of alchemy. Apart from 'all follow me,' it will obey 'cure,' 'heal' and 'light' (if he has enough mana). He'll 'fetch' one item or 'loot' everything around. He will 'give' it to you in whatever container you want it to be put in. Monsters ignore him. If he does get hurt then he'll run away (although he's pretty beefy now). |
