Stat-Caps

The maximum points that you can get in your stats (str, dex, int) is determined by the skills you chose to specialize in.  To see your "Stat Caps", type .spec and look at the three numbers on the bottom of the first page.

Gaining Points in your Stats

Gaining points in Str, Dex and Int only happens due to the passage of time.  Chopping trees, mining, whacking training dummies...none of these have any bearing on your stat gains.  All you have to do is play the game and your stats will go up.

However there is one thing that will have an adverse effect on your stat gains...standing still.  Thus, macroing will actually be detrimental to your stat gains.
