Or if you want the longer answer: Yes and No.

Set bonuses do give the henchman the bonus skills from a completed artifact set, and if the henchman NPC shares the same associated script with players, it will also receive the bonus effect of the full set.

An example of an artifact set that wouldn't benefit a henchman (other than skill bonus) would be Odin's Golden Platemail. Since NPCs use different death scripts than players, the armor would Not come to life on the henchman's death.
