Crafting, auto search for tools

When I craft my tools break, is it possible for a script to auto look for another of the same tool while crafting or at least add charges for the amount of uses until it does break?
Then I can watch telly without having downtime on crafting, he could sit there for 30 minutes and I wouldn't realise
