Horse Spawn Question

I have a question on the horse spawns. Is it possible they might be broke? Only reason I ask is I logged in tonight at my house - close to Ashbenford and I had to run to town. I had forgotten to buy regs last time I was in town- but I noticed Golden Phoenixes. At first it was 2 - a male and female. Thinking someone had decided to try breeding, I didnt think anything of it. Doing a bit of horse breeding myself, I had to find a pale male horse. Doing a quick run around my house normally lets me find the pale male I need. But I kept seeing Golden Phoenix...male and females. I am not talking 3 or 4 - more like 15 to 20 total. If this is going on at all horse spawns in Valhalla - I wont have to go to the other realms for horses!
